Selling a 1953 Flying Cloud 21' with 13 Panels. This unit has everything you could dream of from Solar, Birch wood, Wood Floors Screens, Air, full bathroom with a Stand-up shower, full kitchen, Refrigerator, Stove, Large Bed with new Memory Foam Mattress, a 1950's booth that turns into a second large bed, polished end panels inside, an awning and so much more. This is the epitome of trailers. I have a delivery person at $1.00 a mile who would go anywhere in the United States.

This beautiful 1953 Flying Cloud was restored and enhanced to become a solid long distance road warrior with all the modern conveniences of today’s RVs/campers but kept the nostalgia of the 1950s.Made by Airstream when the factory was in Los Angeles, it is a rare 13 panel unit now highly polished. The 13 panels are the fan of aluminum shells panels in the front and the rear. The many panels created extra strength for the unibody skin of the trailer, before they invented the machinery to stamp out just 3 panels like the Airstreams of today. I restored and renovated in 2014 to 2016. My renovation goal was to keep the vintage trailer light weight using wood materials of Baltic/Artic birch, ie. no heavy plywood. New floor, repaired steel chassis outriggers, all new wiring DC and AC. Kept the 1953 interior design and cabinetry rebuilt, but upgraded modern appliances, with the exception of the original Dixie LP gas range/oven which works well and looks cool. Original vintage Airstream door in door with screen. Original ceiling mounted 8” fluorescent light and looks cool. New Dometic 3 power frig (LPG, AC, DC), hot water heater, 8000 btu air conditioner with remote control, a Fantastic© fan ceiling vent, fresh water tank, Laveo dry flush toilet, stainless steel shower, PEX plumbing, all LED lighting, full size foam mattress bed, 1000 watt sine wave power inverter, 12V AGM 100 amp hour battery, 200 watt roof mounted solar panels, polished LP tanks, rebuilt spring suspension, rebuilt electric brakes, new spare in baggage compartment, tons of storage, furniture all original refinished Baltic white birch solid wood and lightweight plywoods, new classic turquoise retro color awning, original dining sofa chairs/ bed convertible reupholstered. Very spacious, efficient and comfortable trailer set up for RV park 20 or 30 amp hook up or off the grid boondocking. Easy to pull gross weight approx. 2750 lbs. dry with weight distribution tow bars and anti-sway control. Pulled cross country with an Audi Q5 small SUV. Always kept in a heated garage to avoid the New Hampshire winter, although she is airtight and is unscathed by any weather.
